Have a Fire Anywhere with Radius Design’s Home Flame

Radius Design Wall Flame

Fireplaces are a very cool addition to any house. The trouble with a lot of houses and apartment buildings is that they are no longer equipped with them. Radius Design has a range of products that allow a person to have the warm, comforting glow of a fireplace, without the chimney, ash, smoke and soot. By making use of some ultramodern design techniques and clean burning fuels, they have created a fireplace that would look suit just about any modern home. As long as you have the space, the Home Flame can be installed just about anywhere.

There are a variety of options, pictured here is the Wall Flame which comes in either black steel for $1,000 or stainless steel for $1150. The Floor Flame which, as the name implies, sits on your floor will set you back about $785 in black and $930 in stainless. Cheaper options are the Table Flame for $570 and Pure flame for $470. Very, very cool if you have your own place. They run on bio-ethanol, which you would probably do better to pick up closer to home than import all the way from Germany. They have a Wall Flame II which is coming at the end of November and are planning on updating their website with an English version. That is great, because my German skills a really awful.

The Radius Design Website is worth a look, but a word of warning, the movement of those Flash videos might make some of you a little nauseous.
