Fireplaces are a very cool addition to any house. The trouble with a lot of houses and apartment buildings is that they are no longer equipped with them. Radius Design has a range of products that allow a person to have the warm, comforting glow of a fireplace, without the chimney, ash, smoke and soot. By making use of some ultramodern design techniques and clean burning fuels, they have created a fireplace that would look suit just about any modern home. As long as you have the space, the Home Flame can be installed just about anywhere.
There are a variety of options, pictured here is the Wall Flame which comes in either black steel for $1,000 or stainless steel for $1150. The Floor Flame which, as the name implies, sits on your floor will set you back about $785 in black and $930 in stainless. Cheaper options are the Table Flame for $570 and Pure flame for $470. Very, very cool if you have your own place. They run on bio-ethanol, which you would probably do better to pick up closer to home than import all the way from Germany. They have a Wall Flame II which is coming at the end of November and are planning on updating their website with an English version. That is great, because my German skills a really awful.
The Radius Design Website is worth a look, but a word of warning, the movement of those Flash videos might make some of you a little nauseous.

[...] As the weather gets cooler, we’re starting to eagerly anticipate the romance of a fireplace, and we haven’t seen any easier to deal with than this Radius Design Home Flame. Just about the only installation you need to worry about is to hang it on the wall like a picture frame, and there’s no chimney, logs or smoke to deal with because it burns bio-ethanol. This one’s available in black for $1000 or stainless steel for $1150. Just don’t burn the house down in your quest for winter comfort and bearskin rug sports, Romeo. [The Uber Review] [...]

Hi Perla,
Here is the link to buy the Pure Flame http://www.radius-design.com/rshop/pure-flame-p-616.html?osCsid=g5rp00agsbjnp91pkbhj7uakb1
It seems to be sold via the Radius design site itself. Good luck
