Designed to look like everyday dining room table objects, Japan’s Taguchi Craft is putting a whole new spin on speaker design with the Supper Sound System. The unit features speakers shaped like wine bottles and cups, with a receiver shaped like a serving dish for an audio “dining” experience. Plus, Taguchi is known for the high quality of their speakers, so Supper is likely to sound as good as it looks. I’ll take that sort of “dining experience” over my cooking anyday.
Expect Supper to be available sometime at the end of 2007 / early 2008. Pricing details have not been announced.
