Blinged up phones do nothing for me. I don’t care for people that stick diamonds on their platinum encased iPhones. It is boring and it is a terrible waste. The ccPhone, however, is something a little bit different. Citizen:Citizen has done away with all things shiny and opted for a matte black exterior. It looks very different; you will certainly stand apart from other iPhone owners. The ccPhone also features some customized screen art, music, video and Citizen:Citizen’s “own address book in V-Card format.” The address book will be updated twice a year.

It is interesting to note that in addition to the glass and aluminum that are used for the ccPhone, there is also some carbon. I am not sure that the price justifies the expense though. Still, if you are looking for something that is unique, or almost unique (there run is limited to 50), this could be a nice buy. The shipping date is November 15th, it seems they will ship just about anywhere, so there is bound to be competition in picking up these phones.
