A New Device to Ensure that Internet Leeches Never Have to Pay for Connectivity AgainStumble This

Wi-Fire

I would hazard a guess that most of us live within 1000ft of a wireless source.  As long as you are living in a fairly densely populated area, it is a safe assumption that someone within a 300m radius of you has a wireless connection.  Range is better in open areas, but just remember, the more built up the area you live in, the more connections there are likely to be anyway.  It is also probably a pretty safe bet that someone within that range has a connection that they would like to share (because they have not secured it).

Set up appears simple. It will clip onto an LCD monitor or be set up on any flat surface and it has both Mac and Windows software support. will connect you to both b and g networks, which should provide ample speed through the USB connection.  Just remember that in some places, accessing other people’s Internet is a crime.  If you want to share someone’s connection, the polite thing to do is to ask them first.
