Airsoft is an interesting game. You take guns and soft BBs and shoot your friends with them. The thing in Japan is that people soup the airsoft guns up so they are so powerful that they can shoot holes in cans. They are so powerful that you really have to be careful handling them. Let’s hope that no one gets too carried away with some of these bad boys which I saw today on Nerd Approved.
First up we John Rambo’s weapon of choice; that he fired with such relish from his powerful Italian-American hips. That’s right the M-60 general purpose machine gun. Fortunately it is priced well out of the range of obnoxious little kids at $1250, so it just might be used responsibly by most people that purchase it. It is pictured above in all of it’s glory.
Next the M18A1 Claymore Antipersonnel Mine, recreated with loving attention to detail. This little beauty won’t be spreading the love though, it will be spreading the soft plastic hurt in the direction of your enemy. Front toward enemy, that is all the instruction that I need. It is extremely affordable at approximately $120.
Last and possibly least is the world’s oft talked about politically incorrect weapon of mass destruction, the land mine, Airsoft style. It can be filled with all kinds of things to really annoy you fellow Airsoft crew. Paint and non-toxic powder are just two suggestions. One can only assume that means you can get creative. Priced to move at approximately $40.

Sorry but you have no clue what Airsoft is or even what it’s used for. Just about every airsoft gun out there along with just about anything else can put “holes in cans” as we use thin aluminum not stainless steel for cans here in the US. Yes they can be hazardous as even spit wads blown through a straw can injure your eyesight….. Lets research more than a picture next time before giving your opinions.

“Sorry”
That’s okay Jon, you don’t need to apologize, unless it is for failing to understand the concept of tongue-in-cheek.

Whoah. That is the BIGGEST LOAD OF CRAP!!!!!
It also isn’t out of price range. If me at age 12 is considered “an obnoxious little kid” then you are wrong. I myself have spent far over $2000 usd on this. Pics:

If you’re gonna try to use someone’s word out of place, try doing it right.
Try to use elipses? =D
I happened to stumble upon this post and I honestly don’t agree
Any little thing can be a weapon and put someone in a hospital if used wrong. A pencil, which all of us use, is a fine example.
A simple spring loaded pistol can put a hole in a can. It’s not surprising.
I play in mass airsoft fights in my friends backyards. Someone got shot in the back of the throat with one for stupidly opening their mouth and yelling. Simply blaming the tech is pretty stupid.
