Everyone knows that a stirred Martini is for saps, the most suave gent in MI6 taught us that. He also taught us that we should make it from vodka instead of gin, which I have to wholeheartedly concur is a much nicer drink. Regardless of how you like it, this little bar counter gizmo from Hammacher Schlemmer will make it for you and dispense it at the perfect temperature. What is the perfect temperature for a martini? The makers of the Perfect Temperature Martini Maker will tell you that it is 1C or 32F for those of you that refuse to be drawn into the metric system.
How this thing works is, your pour your ingredients, traditionally gin and vermouth into the cocktail shaker. Lines in the shaker will tell you when to stop. You then add in the ice up to a third line and let the martini maker get to work. It will either gently stir or vigorously shake your martini into 1C perfection; it takes 60 seconds to accomplish this feat, apparently. Then all you need to do is dispense it into a glass, throw in the cocktail olives and Mr. Bond will be a happy man.
Price: Approximately $100

Tsk tsk. 1 degree C == 34 degrees F, not 32.
