Avurt IM-5 Self-Defense PAVA Projectile Launcher Launches the Pain at Would be AggressorsStumble This

Avurt IM-5

Seeing as pepper spray has a range that is limited to the distance it can squirt, it is not really what you need for deterring would be attackers when they look at you funny from across the street. In the time that it takes you to think, “Did he have his eye on my Alienware bag?” you can whip out the Avurt IM-5 Self-Defense PAVA Projectile Launcher and give the potential villain a PAVA powder pellet surprise. You can take out nefarious types at up to 40 feet away, and the powder, you will be happy to know, will disperse into a pain bringing cloud that is more potent than pepper spray. If your aim sucks, don’t worry, it rocks a laser site. I suppose it is better than people carrying guns around, but still.

Price: $300 from Avurt which includes 10 multicolored practice rounds. Live rounds are available in packs of 16 for $30 or score a bargain with 32 for $54.

Hmmm, seems to me that when the practice rounds cost more than a buck a piece from the manufactures site, and the live rounds even more, most people will have trouble bringing themselves to practice enough to gain basic proficiency with these things.

If someone has a non-lethal weapon, without the proficiency to use it, they basically have nothing at all.

Not to mention the small problem that people are generally more willing to use a “non-lethal” weapon… including in circumstances where it use is not justified.

Add these together and you have a lot of people with nasty welts and a face full of PAVA, who likely had no link to the disagreement that led to it being fired.

I agree, though if you buy them in bulk, then are 35 to 50 cents each. You don’t have to practice that much, as the laser puts it right where you want. Practice a few times & don’t be trigger happy like many law enforcement have been caught doing on tape.

This should be a last resort for SELF DEFENSE, not used if someone is looking at you the wrong way. Compared to everything else on the market, the Avurt IM-5 Launcher blows away a taser, or anything else out there. Pre-order from our web site, and we will toss in the 48 pack of practice rounds for free.
