The Jansport Dreamer is a solid looking backpack with some cool features.  It absolutely rocks that they have included iPod controls in the shoulder strap, and I dig the LiveWire technology, even if it is just a 3.5 mm jack to dock my iPod with.  Giving us Bluetooth to boot is the icing on the cake.  The size is appropriate for a day trip or a long commute.  Backpacks are common enough that some business people manage to pull them off. If you look like you cycle to work, then no one would think twice.  It is a great piece of luggage technology.

Now for the price, $412!!! That’s right, four hundred and twelve bones for a backpack.  The price is simply ludicrous.  I would say that no one would pay that for a bag, but of course they will.  People spend many times that on Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Hermes and other luxury designed bags every day.  The fact is though, that this is Jansport that we are talking about, you know the company that made really reliable school bags.  The dreamer is a touch overpriced if you ask me and I think they will have a hard time moving it.
