Logitech is doing well with their expansion out of the PC peripherals market. Their new Pure-Fi Elite speaker system is the perfect balance of quality, performance and price. There comes a point with speaker systems where you pay a lot more for very little performance increase. Logitech generally manages to tread just short of that mark and deliver the goods.
With one-inch tweeters and four-inch long throw woofers, this is not going to compete with thousand dollar loudspeaker setups, but it is going to allow you to enjoy your music at a tasteful volume with much higher than average quality. It looks slick and stylish too, and considering the fact that they have gone ahead and thrown in an alarm clock function, I have to say that I am sold.
Price: $300 from Logitech, half that from Amazon
