Why would you want a bullet resistant backpack that features police level ballistic protection? MJ Safety solutions will tell you that it is because of the 229 people that were killed and 422 people that were injured in school violence. They go on to tell you that in almost 97% of those incidents the “MJ Safety Solutions backpack could have provided the ballistic protection that could have saved lives.”
The trouble that I have with a bulletproof backpack is that it only protects your back. It is only protecting half of your torso, so you have protection if someone shoots at you while you are walking or running away. Otherwise, you are out of luck. The price is $250, and I would expect that worried parents everywhere are coughing up the dollars.

Just because it’s called a “back” pack doesn’t mean you can’t hold it in front of you… duuuhhh. The price I paid was actually $175.00 for the My Child’s Pack, you probably were on the wrong site, but then again, if you don’t realize you can hold it in front of you what can you expect.
