The NAT Audio Magma tube amplifier delivers 160W of pure power in the 10-10,000 Hz range. It looks impressive, using three tubes to deliver its performance and a 1,000W transformer to supply the juice. This thing smacks of raw power from the moment you lay eyes on it, it is impressive and it is heavy enough to induce a hernia at 88lbs. Just remember, this is a monoblock amplifier, you will need two of them. Luckily they are sold in pairs at $55,000 for the two.

Well, what do you think, eh? To me, this seems like a somewhat frivolous expense. I don’t need that much power from my speakers.
