Philips Clock / Radio / MP3 Player / Digital Frame a Digital Mashup that Works!Stumble This

Philips AJL308
The clock radio is a timeless mashup and mashups of today generally do little more than display just how far wrong we have gone.  Some of the mashups we have seen in the last twelve months include mp3 playing toasters, mp3 playing refrigerators, microwave ovens with in-built TVs, that sort of thing.  Philips, however, has added two little pieces of technology to the standard clock radio that really work, a digital frame and an mp3 player.  Digital frames on their own seem kind of stupid.  I mean they cost a lot and just about everyone has a printer that can print good quality photos and who listens to regular old radio anymore?

I think Philips really nailed it here, I like the idea of waking up to that slick little screen, with whatever photo I choose to upload and my favorite music pumping out of the little speakers.  Nice job Philips, if these make it to Japan, I am definitely getting one.

Price: $130
