When I was growing up plasma balls were highly desired items. They were also incredibly expensive. These days, they are much more common place and you can even pick up groovy little plasma globe night lights. What is not to love about this thing. It is small, low-powered, does not generate much heat or light. It generates enough light to help wimpy kids not be scared of the dark, or to provide an excellent lights-off semi-dark gaming experience.
Price: $10
