Here is a cool rumor that just dropped on Slashdot. X-Box 360s are rumored to be getting a tasty new addition called the “Family Timer.” The timer will allow parents to dictate the amount of gaming action their overindulged spawn are allowed to partake in, on a daily and weekly basis. Mr. and Mrs. Jones will be able to ensure that little Tommy does not spend more than three hours a week pwning noobs in Halo 3, how fantastic. In some households this may be construed as cruel and unusual punishment, torture if you will, but I for one am all for it.

It will be available through Windows Live.
