Slam Man Won’t Hit Back

Slam Man

If you are a boiling cauldron of rage more often than not, having something to work your frustrations out on can really help.  Slam Man is a boxing trainer that looks vaguely like a human target.  The base is filled with 240 lbs of sand, so you do not need to be afraid to let rip.  It is a bit more interesting than a boring old heavy bag, or occasional pig carcass as it is also a boxing trainer.  LEDs in different positions on Slam Man will light up, indicating where you should hit.  It comes with a workout video and a pair of boxing gloves.  And did I mention that you can adjust the height? Yes, you can adjust the height of Slam Man to simulate fighting shorter or taller people.

I wouldn’t say it was the best money I’ve ever spent on fitness equipment, but once you get it screwed together and filled up with sand (which is no easy task), he’s fun. The sensitivity adjustment is hard to adjust and even though the base is filled up with sand, he wobbles around quite a bit. If you can get him on sale, go for it. Just remember, once he’s filled up with sand, you’ll never move him far unless he’s going down hill or you have a hand truck or a forklift. When he breaks, no sending him back to the factory. Just dig a big hole…

Thanks Michael for that review. Hopefully you don’t have to move it anytime soon.
