Buy the biggest flat screen television in the world, get the biggest and baddest speakers on the planet, buy your own Airbus or 747, get a ridiculously huge yacht. All those items, though extravagant, have function. A solid gold Santa idol, however, is a sign of something very wrong. No one needs it, it does nothing and it costs $2,000,000. If you have that sort of money, take a leaf out of the book of Bill Gates and develop a social conscience. $2,000,000 can pay for a lot of things that are more worthwhile and that will allow you to go to bed thinking that you helped to make a difference.
