Steampunk Mad Scientist Andy’s Stamp KeyboardsStumble This

Andy

This is really cool, covering an entire keyboard with postage stamps for gives it an awesome look. I really like the way that this came off and the way Andy matched keys with the names of the people featured on them. This must have taken an incredibly long time to put together. Word on the street, or more importantly on Van Slatt’s weblog is that Andy has made 10 of these beauties and that each one of them features stamps from a single country.

I have been touch typing since elementary school, so I don’t really need to see the keys. I must admit though that since I moved to Japan, I have had trouble with punctuation, especially the apostrophe. If I do a whole lot of typing I get a little key confusion and end up with ampersands instead of apostrophes, but 99% of the time I catch myself as I do it. I would like to get myself one of these or at least make one, it seems like a fun project to build, though probably a tad expensive considering that I no longer have a stamp collection.

Great job Andy!

A whole slew of photos after the jump.
