Mary’s crying and its not because the new STAX SR-007 Omega II MkII Electrostatic Headphones are so expensive, it is because their comfort is enhanced with the use of sheepskin. The ultra-pricey headphones look to be packing an awesome punch. The frequency response is absolutely out of this world at 6 - 41,000 Hz. I was just listening to Led Zeppelin’s “Houses of the Holy” and I can only imagine what it would sound like with these bad boys on my ears. They also feature a leather headband and gold plated electrode structure. And don’t we just love the carrying case, if they were about $1,000 less I would seriously consider buying them.
