My first encounter with snow was when I was about ten years old on top of Mt. Titlas in Switzerland. My second encounter was equally magical in a small city out in central Japan. The magic wore off as soon as I realized that I had to ride my gearless bicycle through 5 kilometers of the stuff to get home. I got home, enjoyed quite a few snow chilled beers and went to bed, thinking no more of the snow on the ground. The next morning, nursing a powerful hangover, I was awoken at dawn by the sounds of snow shovels scraping the driveway in front of my apartment. I did the obvious thing; I pulled the blanket over my head, shirked my responsibility and slept until 3 P.M.
Now a new product will make shirking a thing of the past. It is a wheeled snow shovel that even a weakling like me can use to great effect. The wheel comes in handy for two things, pushing large amounts of snow and levering it. In fact, this bad boy features adjustable leverage which makes it even better. Sure, your neighbors will think that you are a weakling and a chump (for buying one shovel with money enough for purchasing five), but you will get the job done in a fraction of the time that it takes them. Then you can come out with a steaming cup of hot cocoa, wearing a self satisfied smirk, and enjoy the spectacle of them toiling away. If you want to rub salt in the wound you might offer them the use of your wheeled shovel after you are finished with it.
Price: Approximately $120
