I love chocolate and I love cake and though I never owned my own Atari 2600, I enjoyed many a game of River Raid back in the day. The Atari 2600 joystick was a work of art that holds a warm place in many a middle-aged geek’s heart. Amateur photographer and Flickr contributor Fredrick Johnson captured these images of the joystick cake which was baked by a pastry chef and presumed retro-gaming fanatic, Lisa. We think that it is very nice work and would like to see the pastry-gaming mashup trend continue.
