Clean Communications from BezeqStumble This

Bezeq Tower

Word on the street, or should I say, word on the web is that Israeli telecommunications company Bezeq is offering a “Clean Line” service to ultra-orthodox types. If you count yourself amongst the haredi Jews and want to block all communications that are deemed inappropriate by a council of rabbis, then this is the service you have been looking for.

Seriously folks, I think that Bezeq is onto something here; I already do the same sort of thing myself though. I block incoming calls from those I deem offensive. My service only allows me to block up to twenty numbers, but that is enough to keep out all recent exes, former co-workers and the occasional jackass who “got your number from Dave, man.”

My communications control on the weekend tends to involve my phone running out of batteries from spending too long playing Tetris. I have a somewhat less sophisticated “Clean Line” but a clean line nonetheless.
