Cozy, Minimalist Home Theater is a Refreshing Change

Minimalist Home Theater

I don’t know of a single geek that does not dream of owning a home theater. Unfortunately, for most of us, the cost and space requirement is more than a little off putting. Seating solutions can be a big part of your budget and a typical, dedicated home theater is hardly a space that you can use for anything other than viewing your latest Blu-Rays.

The other extreme is the home theater that is jimmied into a living room environment. Sure, you can entertain people there, but it is hardly the movie paradise that we all desire. Architect James Biber has designed a home theater that really is a happy medium. The Radiant Lighting system that it employs ensures that the room is never completely dark, expensive seating has made way for the affordability and flexibility of beanbags and telescoping angles make the screen appear bigger when you are sitting closer to it. It looks cozy and it is nice to see a home theater environment that you don’t have to be totally immersed in; because believe it or not, some people like that.
