For people that lead active lifestyles, the Power Monkey Charger could be a life changing little box of energized goodness. These things are batteries on steroids. You plug them in, charge them up and they will hold their juice for up to a year. The two models that you can choose from, either the mains powered Classic or the ruggedized solar powered Explorer.

I don’t need a Power Monkey Charger, I have a desk job. Sitting on my desk is a universal cell phone charger that is never unplugged. I get to work, plug my phone in and go home with a full charge. The only time I deviate from this plan is when I have to find my cell phone charger at home. I don’t know where that thing has got to. I don’t get outdoors much, so the Explorer would not be much good to me, which is a shame because I like the rugged look much better than the cheap looking Classic. The LCD screen really caps it off, it is a nice external power source.
