You would be correct if you assumed that I am a bit of a steampunk fan. I own zero steampunk items and have no intention of ever purchasing or building any, but I do admire the extreme DIY crowd. I have to say that the feisty little droid came out remarkably well, amoebabloke can pat himself on the back for an exceptional project. His Deviant Art page is worth checking out if you have the time, there are a lot of great shots of the R2 project and a few other assorted goodies.
