This is the most pointless device that I have seen in, oh the last twenty minutes and that is saying a lot. If you jump up and down on it, the AquaSkipper will allow you to fly across the water like a skimming pebble at a quoted maximum speed of 17 mph. Jumping up and down is a fairly demanding aerobic workout and I would hazard a guess that most people can’t keep it up for very long, so you might not want to stray too far from shore, lest you find yourself stranded and out of breath. It looks like fun, in a faddish sort of way.
