Stealth Mini-PC Packs a Whole Lot into a Tiny PackageStumble This

Stealth Computer LPC-450PCI
I am sold on the concept of the mini-PC, largely due to the fact that I need more than one desktop in a very limited space. At the moment there are three functional PCs in my home with a fourth about to be set up. The thing is, I only need one really heavy-duty machine. I want a tiny computer like this one to get some of the space back, while at the same time enjoying the benefits of my home network. I won’t be buying an LPC-450PCI, but I am interested to see if the concept of gutsy tiny PCs can eventually take off.

The Stealth Mini-PC is more than just the standard mini-PC, thanks largely to the fact that they have somehow managed to fit a PCI slot into that tiny case. A PCI slot means that you will be able to get a little enhanced functionality from your tiny PC.

While the specs are not groundbreaking for PC gamers, it does pack a bit of a punch. It runs a Dual Core processor, supports up to 4GB of RAM. There is a single 2.5-inch HDD slot, integrated Ethernet, and the motherboard brings you onboard audio and video. They have packed all of this into a tiny, low profile case that measures 5.8″ (W) x 10.0″ (D) x 2.8″ (H).

The only catch that I see to these systems is the price. I can build a bigger PC for next to nothing, so I would be more than a little hesitant to find $1450 for an LPC-450PCI with the minimum specs. There are laptops with similar specs that cost less.
