I confess that I have never played Rock Band. It is not that I do not want to, it is that I have had no opportunities here in Japan. American games take a long time to come out over here. If you love your Rock Band drumming action, then the Ultimate Rock Band Drum Kit is most definitely for you.
This is a complete DIY drum kit for Rock Band. It was designed and built by Brett “Buzz” Dawson using a real drum kit and a whole lot of ingenuity. The kit was gutted and outfitted with the necessary sensors to create this one of a kind controller. I have to say, it looks great and it is certainly not beyond the capabilities of a moderately skilled techie to recreate.

Very nice. I am waiting for ion or some other drum manufacturer to come up with plug in interface so I can use cheap set of electronic drums with rock band.
I am not a techie so I need someone else to do it
