While a lot of routers have been running the N standard for some time now, Apple has until now held back. As frustrating as that has been for people, Apple has finally decided to get with the program and offer 802.11n. Mac owners will now be able to enjoy blazing connection speeds of 248 megabits per second over authentic Apple technology.
There are a few cool points about the Apple Airport, one of them is that it allows up to ten connections off the one unit. That is very nice if you are going to have a bunch of friends over for a MacParty to use Safari and design stuff together (I kid because I love). Seriously though, this is some cool news and it is a nice router. I might even have to get myself one; one of these days.
