Coleman Tent Fan to Ease Tensions on Family Camping Trips

Coleman Cool Zephyr Ceiling Fan

Travis Hudson over at DVICE might think that camping with a Coleman Cool Zephyr Ceiling Fan is not really camping, but then I suspect he has not experienced camping in the blisteringly hot Australian summer. When it is 40C+ there is not much that you can do to stay cool and the heat is just plain dangerous; especially so for little brothers. A fan can give you slight relief and more than makes up for the additional cost of a powered site. This is probably not something that you would be taking with you on a weekend trip, but if you are down at the beach for a few weeks, it is perfect. You don’t even need a powered site or a generator as the Coleman’s latest camping treat runs on D-size batteries.

There is another thing that you can do with a fan; use it to heat up your charcoal in about a fifth of the time that it would normally take.

Price: $25
