Firstly, I don’t get why something would be better for the environment because it is made out of wood; you have to cut down trees to get it right? So it always depends on where the wood comes from and there are not too many ways to do that. Digression aside, let’s have a look at this Jupiter Mouse. It is made out of wood, has a crazy shape that people might just come to love and costs a bundle. I don’t think this will win any fans in the hardcore FPS crowd, but design types might appreciate it. As for me, I will be sticking with my Razer Lachesis for now.

It is priced at a smidgen under 14,000 Yen. As the dollar – yen is all over the place at the moment the dollar price is hardly relevant. It is $143 today, but when the dollar corrects it should be around $120 – $130.
