The ever vigilant TSA has taken exception to the MacBook Air, allegedly due to the lack of an optical drive and lack of ports. I suspect the real reasons to be technological ignorance and gross incompetence, but that is another story. Apparently an owner of a MacBook Air was kept waiting so long that he missed his flight, while his svelte device was pawed by oafish security goons that would perhaps have been less perplexed by a Lenovo.
