
While the Hand Foot Chair of Pedro Friedeberg does not look all that comfortable, it does have an almost regal or dare I say quasi-religious feel to it. It looks it belongs on one of the handless and footless Moai of Easter Island; or perhaps at the base of a statue in honor of one Greek divinity or another. It is impressive and I must say I love it. Of course, the price puts it well beyond my price range, so I will have to admire from afar.

I admit it looks “fit for a god”, but I think it’s very ugly. I can’t picture it anywhere, surrounded with anything, where it wouldn’t look like a giant food someone sawed off.
