RipFactory RipServer Makes Ripping Your CD Library Ridiculously EasyStumble This

RipServer

Don’t let the plain white facade fool you, beneath the unassuming cubic exterior lies a sophisticated CD ripping, network-enabled device. The RipServer can pack up to 1TB of hard disk space. As the name implies, it rips your CDs allowing you then to distribute them throughout your network using its UPnP media server functionality.

That would be cool on its own, but RipServer really outdid themselves by allowing the RipFactory to run independently. It does not need to be connected to a network to function. It is literally as simple as inserting a disk. It runs off an embedded Linux operating platform, which need not frighten the non-technically minded. Setup is via a web interface.

Price: $1200 for 500GB and $1400 for 1TB (I am assuming that sticking your own drives in would be an option).
