I fail to see the attraction to saunas, maybe this is because I hate to sweat. When someone walks into a hot room or into a hot car they say, “It’s like a sauna in here.” This is because they liken the experience to being in a sauna which is uncomfortable. If I were to have a sauna in my own home, I would have to weigh the possible health benefits against the extreme discomfort of sitting in a boiling hot stink pit and probably move in favor of keeping myself seated in front of the computer with a tall frosty one in one hand and my Razer Lachesis in the other.
The Signature 4 Person Infrared Sauna has a few advantages over regular saunas. There are no hot rocks here, it uses solocarbon heating panels and an infrared thermal system to get the temperature up. The company alleges that this will wipe 6-7 times the amount of toxins out of your body as a regular sauna would.
The Canadian cedar interior has a cozy, log cabin-esque look about it. Judging from the picture, it looks small and I am guessing that a the CD Player and radio ought to keep you entertained while you steam. To date, my record in a sauna is something like twelve minutes, so I am guessing I would have to choose my music carefully.
