If you have a serious drinking problem, have lots of parties or need a large amount of ice in a hurry for any other reason, then why not get an ice cube machine. It will turn 2.3 liters of water into usable ice cubes in ten to twelve minutes. That is next to nothing. I have an ice cube maker built into my fridge and it is so slow that you really have to plan ahead if you are having company.

Ten to twelve minutes is not that long to wait even when you are jonesing for a Scotch on the rocks like it is nobody’s business. I have to get me one of these. Oh, and the best part, it only costs $280. A small price to pay for never having to drink your coffee hot again.
