My opinion on the Segway is that no matter what you do to the thing, there is no getting around the fact that it is dorky transportation. Would I ride a Segway or more importantly, would I ride this Segway? I believe that you and I both know that the answer to the question is, yes. I would ride a Segway with normal wheels. People could point their fingers and laugh all they wanted while I coasted around effortlessly on two gyroscope-balanced wheels immune to their taunts. It is my secret shame that riding a Segway is on my to do list for sometime in the not too distant future. They look like so much fun. Do fat tires make the Segway hardcore? No, it is what it is and fat wheels will not change that fact.
