360° Panoramic Photography on the Cheap with the Panamatic MountStumble This

Panamatic Mount
If you are looking for some 360° camera action at a reasonable price, the Panamatic Mount is an easy way to get there. It snaps onto a tripod, and makes use of a ratchet with twelve preset positions which will help you take a complete 360° panorama manually; an in-built level ensures that your camera is sitting level, necessary if you want your angles to match. Once you have taken all twelve photos, all you need to do is stitch your photos together with your choice of photo editing software and you have yourself a 360° panorama.

At $25, it is a lot cheaper than systems that would accomplish the same task automatically. [Panamatic Mount via Gear Fuse via Oh Gizmo!]

That’s awesome! I’ve taken a couple of 360 shots just by holding my camera and spinning on the spot but then it gets a little messy stitching the photos together. This gadgets sounds good as it would give consistant spacing between each shot - thanks for the tip on this :)
