I love the look of a good motherboard; it needn’t have funky colors or excessive decoration, it is one of the few things that in the words of Chris Rock, “works on its own.” So does the Mac Book Pro, which is why I would be hesitant to alter one in any way; but if you give me a motherboard Gelaskin, I just might. Seriously, these things look how a motherboard should look, they will make your Mac Book stand out in a crowd and confirm your geek status to the entire world. While doing so, they will protect your laptop, so you really are killing two birds with one stone.
The Motherboard-themed Gelaskin for laptops is priced very reasonably at $29.95 and you can skin an iPod touch for about half that. A fair price, I would say, to protect your mega-expensive Mac laptop.
