HD3 Complication Vulcania Seen in the Wild, Looking Somewhat Steampunk

CAD Rendering of the Vulcania
Watchismo Times managed to score some photos and a video of the HD3 Complication Vulcania. The timepiece features an extremely cool looking bi-axial tourbillon; one of only eleven HD3 watches to do so.

More pictures and a video after the jump.

The term Steampunk is being bandied around a little too much at the moment. I am not convinced that the HD3 Complication Vulcania strictly fits the definition; however, it does come close to resembling something described in a Jules Verne novel, so I guess it gets credit.

I took this video and high-res images on a boat at Lake Geneva during the SIHH 2008 watch show. Some of the smaller companies setup parties/shows outside of the SIHH Watch Fair– they choose not to be directly associated with the main show.
