Vitantonia Egg Boiler
The phrase, “couldn’t cook an egg” is generally used to describe a person with extremely limited kitchen prowess. Cooking eggs does not really take all that much effort, especially if you are boiling them. Bring a pot of water to the boil, throw in some eggs for the length of time appropriate to the level of hardness that you want, remove from heat and eat. The process is completed over the space of about ten minutes, depending on how quickly you can shell the suckers. Why would I need an electric egg boiler that takes longer? Sure, you can fit seven eggs into it at the same time, but the process takes ten minutes for soft-boiled and fifteen minutes for hard-boiled. That is simply too long to wait.

At $50, I will be passing on this one.

Maybe you shouldn’t pass on the egg cooker. If you throw the eggs into boiling water they will crack. Put the eggs in the water then boil.

It doesn’t matter if they crack if you are going to eat them and they don’t crack if you are careful with your placement. I have been doing my eggs that way for years, they seldom, if ever, crack.
