As our homes become more inundated with gadgets, we need ever more chargers. The alternative for many of our cell phones is USB chargers. These are no problem for those of us that leave our computers running, but what about those who shut down their computers at night. Toshiba has a solution, it is called the sleep and charge; it ensures that you can charge through your USB ports when the notebook is shutdown or hibernating.
While most notebook manufacturers are focused on making their computers slimmer or more powerful, it is nice to see that some are trying to make them more convenient. While this won’t make me buy a Toshiba, it has me mightily impressed. This is something that should have been done years ago.
The Satellite U400, M300, A300, and P300 models will all pack sleep and charge USB ports which will charge your gadgets so long as the machine is plugged in, regardless of whether it is on or not (you cannot do it from battery).

This is something that was done years ago…
How many laptops have you reviewed before??? Toshiba did not think of it and it is NOT a new feature!!!
Even many cheap machines like the eeePC have this feature…
Copy-pasting press releases can lead to embarrassment…
