Brewing up a fresh cup of coffee takes time that some people just don’t have. When you throw food into the equation, it further complicates the matter, eating takes time as well and when you are rushing towards that midnight deadline, food often gets sacrificed for the greater good. Engobi thinks they have a solution to the food vs. caffeine dilemma that faces so many of us on a semi-daily basis; they call it Energy Go Bites.
These caffeine-infused potato chips could succeed in doing what no snack has done before, bringing us caffeine and snack sustenance in one hit. Hopefully, they come in a grease-free formula so that you can keep on plugging away while eating without oiling up your ‘board.
Unfortunately, there is a hitch in the Engobi plan for global snack domination; apparently, the flavors of Cinnamon Surge and Lemon Lift that do not taste very good, but considering they only cost $1.29 per bag, it is not really going to hurt to find out.
If anyone has tried them, drop us a line, we would love to hear from you.
Price: $1.29 [Engobi via Geekologie, Coolest Gadgets]

Ok, I just tried this “chip” about 5 min’s ago. I only ate about 5 pieces… the taste wasn’t to bad, but then again im use to eating V8’s and protein shakes.
The sugar level in this isn’t bad, but the Caffeine is RIDICULAS! If you want an unhealthy dose of energy this is it. But its FAR too much caffeine, I would rather chug a Monster or Red bull. As soon as I ate the first 5 chips I could actually feel the blood flow faster in my veins. The company proudly admits that they “offer of 70% more caffeine then any energy drink”. Now don’t get me wrong I like caffeine; I use it as part of my regular diet. But please take things in moderation, but then again im not your dietitian/nutritionist.
Right now I can still feel the side effects, my feet are double tapping like a Heavy Metal drummer and my head is hurting.
At lest I know when I stay up late Friday and Saturday night playing my RPG’s there is a snack out there that can keep me going for a year and a day. I wouldn’t take this daily and when I would take it I don’t think I could eat the whole bag, even though they are pretty addicting. But you don’t have to take my word for it.
