The Improvements Mail Chime is, as the name implies, a chime system for your mailbox. It is comprised of a transmitter and receiver combination with a 300′ range. When mail is deposited into your mailbox, an alarm will sound and a red LED will stay on until the mail is retrieved.

While some people don’t get a lot of snail mail, it does actually come by my house quite often. I generally find something in my mailbox about every other day and something that I want to read about once a week. The trouble is this, to check my mailbox involves me leaving my apartment and going all the way down one flight of stairs. Who wants to do that?

Is the Improvements Mail Chime necessary? Absolutely not, but it is something that I could see myself buying in the not too distant future.
