A leather envelope for your Mac Book Air is just the thing to get if you are in awe of the mighty Steve and you want to relive that precious moment in history when in the greatest move since water into wine, the man pulled a laptop out of a manila envelope. The crowd gasped, people were intrigued and the Mac Book Air won a whole lot of fans. The leather envelope looks pretty good for an envelope, but you do have to wonder how much protection it is going to give your machine.

The Mac Book Air looks sweet, you have me there. As much as I hate to admit it, Apple did a good job with that one. Steve’s gimmick of pulling it out of the manila envelope was a great piece of corporate propaganda; so much so that fanboys the world over seek to emulate it. The joke is old guys and about as exciting as last night’s rerun of Columbo which I have seen for the gazillionth time. It might have been cool back in 1972 or whenever it was that the Mac Book Air was announced, but it is time to move on and get with the times.
