If your real view sucks, then the virtual ceilings and windows from Sky Factory can give you something a little better to look at. They make use of backlighting balanced with natural sunlight to achieve their optical illusion. They look pretty good, but are bound to be expensive considering the fact that they must be custom-built and it takes four to six weeks for Sky Factory to get the job done.

Alright, maybe the title was a slight overstatement, but I can categorically state that it is not healthy to live in a tiny studio apartment from whence you can reach out and touch the neighboring building through your only window. I like a darkened room as much as the next geek, but a bit of sunlight makes a difference.
