Tokyo Flash is famous for making watches that you have to perform annoying feats of mental gymnastics to tell time on. The Oberon SS is one of their simpler models, it still requires that the user count segments of the concentric rings. The outer ring displays hours, the middle ring displays single minutes and the innermost ring displays minutes in units of ten.
Would I buy one of these for myself? Probably not, I don’t need the aggravation. That being said, however, the Oberon SS does look incredibly cool. The SS really earns some style points over the original and slightly more expensive Oberon for its use of stainless steel.
Price: About $160
