Video: Homebrewing With an Arduino

YouTube Preview Image

Here is a cool idea, use an Arduino board and some custom Java code to keep your homebrew sitting at the correct temperature. No more will homebrewer Yuri have to worry about a batch getting too cool. His system monitors temperature and adjusts as required.

While making a home-brew is not exactly rocket science, a lot of things can and do go wrong. It is easy to spoil a batch by letting the brew get too hot; or to slow fermentation to a crawl by letting it cool. I am assuming that Yuri lives in a colder clime as his setup heats the brew using steam. [Homebrew Talk via Make]
