The Cell Ranger is an interesting take on the humble old cell phone booster. It plugs into your computer via USB and then uses an on-board microprocessor to filter out any unnecessary signals, whilst amplifying the signals that your cell phone actually needs. The result is a couple of extra bars of reception in most cases.
I don’t have any trouble with cell phone reception in my home, but if I did, a cell phone booster would be high on my list of priorities.
Price: $150 (it comes in USB or 12v versions)
