CD players might well be going the way of the dodo, but that doesn’t stop designers from coming up with some cool concept designs for them. The Dual Music Player is a concept developed by Korean designer Kim Yong Seong, he combines a fold-out CD player with an MP3 player and isn’t the result mind-blowingly awesome?

The Dual Music Player makes use of Bluetooth for wireless headphone action and opens up to play CDs without all of the wasted space that is so typically found in portable CD players. Sure, it might not be practical as a portable CD player as you will need to put it down somewhere to play them, but who cares; this thing is too cool for words. I can’t believe that I didn’t notice it six months ago when it first hit Yanko.

Hah yeah, see if there are any lawsuits with a cd spinning at over 500 rpm. The concept is dead just based on the fact that it could never hit the consumer market.
