The Sensear SP1 Electronic Ear Plugs are designed for folks that work in high-noise environments and by high-noise I mean noisy like a flight deck or a home with a nagging significant other. Such people are going to need to hear things like alarms or music over some extremely loud ambient noise; these ear plugs make that possible; basically they are noise canceling headphones on steroids.

I have no idea what the sound quality of these things would be, but you have to admit it is some awesome technology. Note that if you want a pair, they don’t come cheap.
